#308 Moly Dri-Plate
Moly Dri-Plate is designed for applications where an extreme pressure, high temperature dry lubricant is desirable.
Moly Dri-Plate is a molybdenum disulfide lubricant that is dispersed in a non-flammable solvent. It is designed for applications where an extreme pressure, high temperature dry lubricant is desirable.
The non-flammable solvent in Moly Dri-Plate is used as a carrier to disperse the molybdenum disulfide so a uniform coating can be achieved. Moly Dri-Plate dries quickly to form an adherent (dust and dirt resistant) dry lubricating film of molybdenum disulfide. Once dispersed onto the metal's surface the molybdenum disulfide plates itself to the metal surface to form a long lasting solid lubricant film. This solid lubricant film will withstand pressures up to 500,000 pounds per square inch, thus giving the metal surfaces the protection needed during periods of high shock loads and extreme pressure.
The molybdenum disulfide solid lubricant film also helps to reduce friction. This reduction in friction results in reduced wear, a reduction in contact area temperatures, and the prevention of the galling, seizing and fretting of metals. This in turn results in increased equipment life and less downtime.
Moly Dri-Plate is recommended as an extreme pressure and high temperature lubricant for the following applications:

Moly Dri-Plate can be applied by either standard spray, brush or dip methods. The surface to which Moly-Dri-Plate will be applied should be clean and dry.
